Aviation Cultures also present a series of online seminars – Spotlights – that we think will be of great interest to our followers.
These seminars borrow from the highly successful format introduced at the Aviation Cultures Mk.V conference in 2021. They are online, but shorter than a full conference, usually taking place in a single day.
Each Spotlight focuses on a particular topic and comprise short presentations by a small panel of experts, followed by a moderated discussion including audience questions.
The next Spotlight will take place later in 2025, followed by another in early 2026:

Next, 27-28 Feb, 2026, is ‘Print the Legend‘. A look at the changes in aviation biography from the old ‘Boy’s Own’ to more detailed and tougher modern ‘warts and all’ biographies. As well as some famous names profiled by current authors, there will be other aspects of aviation storytelling examined!
